Blue Ribbon Bodacious Shiney Gold
February 29, 2004 33.75” palomino
AMHA Reserve World Champion
“Shiney Gold” came to us very unexpectedly. His sire is Blue Ribbon Mr Bodacious, 4 time National Champion, 2001 National Grand Champion Sr Stallion and 2004 World Champion Get Of Sire and his dam is a daughter of multiple National Champion driving horse, Imma Rooten Tooten Outlaw. But when he was offered to me, you can be sure I jumped at the chance. Shiney Gold had already proven himself in the show ring before we aquired him. He was the 2004 Central Regional Grand Champion Weanling Stallion 26 – 30 and was 2004 Reserve World Champion Weanling Stallion 26 – 30. He has been Supreme, Grand or Reserve Champion several times. This year has been very exciting with Shiney Gold as he was shown by both Samantha and I. He has proven to be a great teacher for me and with us he was 2007 Eastern Championship Reserve Champion Amateur Gelding. He won Amateur Level 1, AOTE Geldings and was second in Level 2 at the same show. He finished his year with top ten at the AMHA World Show in Amateur Level 2. Look for him again as he loves the ring and will be continuing on as the wonderful horse he has come to be.
JSW Checkmates Best Bet
March 28, 2006 29” Silver Bay
AMHA World Champion Top Ten (3rd)
Best Bet will come to our show string for 2008 at our Junior Gelding. He placed 3rd at the 2005 AMHA World Championships in weanling stallions 26” & under so we know he has the potential to win for us. Best Bet is by the Egyptian King son Grosshill Egyptian Kings Checkmate and out of the great producing mare Lucky Four Silvers Satin Doll and if her name sounds familiar its because she is also the dam of our driving horse, Spin. Best Bet has winning in his blood and we look forward to seeing what he will do for us. Look for him in 2008 in AOTE jr geldings and Amateur Level 2 Jr Geldings with Samantha.

"Ghost" is our first miniature and the one that started the whole thing. He was shown at the 2003 World Class Championships and placed 10th in Multicolor, 6th in Model Stallions, and he was Reserve Champion 2 yr. old Stallion. He has since been gelded and is happy being our farm mascot and ambassador of good will.

“Travis” was a great find for us. He has the long beautiful neck that is so sought after in the ring today. After his slow start this year, he has started to blossom in the show ring. He has gone Grand and Reserve Champion in both open and amateur this year. He has also earned points in liberty. Travis continues to get better and better with each show and we were very happy when he was named Reserve Grand Champion Amateur Sr Gelding Level 1 at Eastern Championships. Travis also went top three at both AMHR Nationals and AMHA World in Amateur Sr Geldings. Congratulations to Rich & Rebecca Freeman Spring Hope, NC on leasing Travis for the 2008 show season.
