  2009 AMHA World Champion Amateur Jr Stallions Level 1 30” & under  

Sometimes things just happen. I usually do not keep stallions at the farm, just a lot of extra problems. But when the chance to own this wonderful little stallion was presented to us, we just couldn’t say no. Mercury is a son of Multiple Supreme and Champion of Champions, RHA Rangers Absolut and out of a mare we loved when she was showing, Multiple Grand Champion, RHA Wardances Lovely Rita. With a pedigree like this, Mercury couldn’t help but also be a wow kind of horse. We are going to continue with him in the show ring in Yearling stallions 28” - 30” and in Amateur Jr Stallions Level 2 30” & under. Who knows, I might even try Amateur Level 1 with him, he is just the type of horse to make me want to try.  

Well I tried the Amateur Level 1 thing with Mercury at the World Show, well to my complete surprise, we won our class. Yes, now my wonderful little stallion is a World Champion. He also went on to place very well with Samantha in Level 2 and in Futurity he earned some money back for us. So much for one little horse to accomplish in just a few short days. Thank you Bob and Pam Walsh of Rocking Horse Acres for allowing us to bring this incredible stallion home. We are honored to have him.
