Welcome to the home of AKS Miniatures. We are located in Winston Salem, NC and started this wonderful journey in June of 2002 with the purchase of our first mini. Since then we have had our ups and our downs, some great highs and not so great lows, but the one thing that has stayed the same is our love for these wonderful little horses.

We have been blessed with truly extraordinary friends, outstanding horses and wonderful experiences since we started. This past year had been exciting to say the least. Sometimes things just happen that you don’t expect but it works out in the end. We made it back to a few shows and are very happy with how our horses did in the ring. You can’t ask for much more than that.
   
We have come to a new part of our lives that does not include the horses living with us, but the ones we kept are in such wonderful, safe hands. We appreciate that more than you know. But that doesn't mean we are staying home, watch for us in the ring for what we feel will be one of our best years yet.

While you will always see Samantha and myself at the shows, our farm name comes from all of our family.

We came up with this name because the horses were what we did as a family and even though Audie isn't here with us in body, he is always with us in heart.

We welcome our first foal of the year. Foaled on May 1, its a small chestnut filly sired by RHA Mercurys Rising and out of Villas Party Doll. A huge thank you to Pam Walsh at Rocking Horse Acres for foaling this baby for me. I can't wait to see her.
